It’s A Wrap Clothing Store Los Angeles – Star Power And Star Appearance

Hollywood, lights, camera, action! The life of a star. It’s all about star power. Everyone wants star power, and that requires star appearance, just? Well, It’s A Wrap Production Wardrobe Sales, located in Los Angeles is a store that allows you to prefer not just the clothes of the stars, but also the VERY clothes of the stars customary on the sets of sitcoms, soap operas and movies made in Hollywood and in New York.

“It’s A Wrap” is a production wardrobe sales store with two locations in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, which actually sells the clothes of the stars allowing the public to buy the star power they want. The original store located at 3314 W. Magnolia Boulevard, impartial a few block from the Disney, Warner Brothers and NBC Studios, in Burbank California was the first store I visited which at the time of visit had clothes from the movie “Soul Plane,” and “Will and Grace,” and “Eve.” It was fun just looking at the clothes and accessories. They have props as well should one be alive to in having an extremely unique piece for the home. The newest station is located in West Los Angeles at 1164 S. Robertson Boulevard. This is the only store offering to the public true wardrobe and props from movie sets. You can visit the store, buy online, as well as in auction.

Through this very unique experience of shopping at wardrobe ales, expect to find clothes, shoes, accessories, and props from popular shows such as All My Children, Frasier, and General Hospital, to name a few at It’s A Wrap. They have pieces from shows no longer on television as well such as Frasier, Baywatch, Seinfeld, Sleepers, Striptease, Charmed and many others. Catch in mind the star wardrobe is practically new, in some cases having been worn only an hour or two during shooting. Some has never been used and unexcited has price tags on it. This is a map for the studios to weed out wardrobe, by selling the clothes of the stars, to the benefit of the interested public who wish to own such unique items that arrive with a story through the purchase of wardrobe sales.

The way this wonderful deal works is when the filming is completed (wrapped) on a television note or big screen film, or when a television show has been canceled, the studios contact “It’s A Wrap” and a representative from their store visits the studio to pick up the clothing to later be sold to the public at extremely reduces rates through their wardrobe sales.

Among the name brands available at the time of my visit were Versace, Bill Blass, Coach, Ice, Mark Cross, and Gucci. I would say those name brands equate to “Star Power.” When I visited the store in Burbank, I was in pursuit of a particular star accessory; specifically a large Rive Gauche unlit bag carried by Karen on Will and Grace. A friend that shopped with me bought a suit that had been worn by one of the stars on All My Children. He got the Hugo Boss suit for $10, the dress shirt for $5, and the Italian loafers for $50. Both stores carry an assortment of wardrobe sales from the studios including casual wear, formal wear, shoes, accessories, furnishings, and collectible items.

If visiting the Burbank store, acquire the Ventura Freeway to Pass Avenue and head north about a mile and a half to Magnolia, and engage a right. About four blocks down the street on the north side, you will find the production wardrobe store.

The West side store in Beverly Hills located on Robertson Boulevard, north of Pico is fairly new. From Rodeo Drive, one would take Wilshire east one mile to Robertson and turn right. Continue three block on Robertson past Whitsworth Avenue and you will score the store on the left hand side.

So the next time you are in Los Angeles, the land of the stars, halt by It’s A Wrap, and purchase some of the clothes of the stars, and purchase your bit of star power. Visit the Web site for further information.
